On Wednesday the 11th of March, The Royal Holloway Enterprise Hub, along with London Metropolitan University Accelerator, joined more than 450 students from over 16 London universities to take part in this year’s London Venture Crawl. Students were able to visit some of London’s top innovation hubs, accelerators, and workspaces.

Venture Crawl is an annual event organised by Loughborough University London. This year is the first time Royal Holloway is participating. Our day began at 09.00 with our first stop at Makerversity, then we moved on to Runway East, RocketSpace, University of the Arts London, the Old Spitalfields Market, and ending at Plexel, London’s biggest Innovation Hub, for a big finale, which involves a pitching competition.
Our student entrepreneurs were able to experience the Innovative ecosystem of London first hand. They were also able to meet student entrepreneurs from other universities, provide a platform for knowledge exchange, foster collaboration and networking, and engage in peer to peer interaction and experiential learning. Our students greatly benefitted from this experience: “What a great day on VentureCrawl! I never realised there was so much help and support available for entrepreneurs!”
